Residents at Warramunda village enjoy the finest in home cooked meals and careful nutrition programs. Our qualified Chefs all have extensive hospitality industry experience and work diligently to make sure the quality of our meals exceeds our residents expectations.
Our chefs meet DAILY with each resident to discuss the days menu and meal plan and adjust it to taste preference and diet. Residents enjoy the benefits of of our in-house nutritionist who meets with each resident on a monthly basis, and then liaises with the Chefs and kitchen staff.
Our kitchens specialise in modified diets including gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and special meals for our more frail residents.
Our dining room is the focus of daily life in the Village and our kitchens provide special fare for celebrations and events such as birthdays, morning teas and special events like the Melbourne Cup, Christmas and Grand final. We will celebrate anything!
Our residents enjoy three cooked meals a day, as well as morning and afternoon tea, and evening supper. Our private dining area is available for families to enjoy a meal together at a very reasonable cost.
Our kitchens are of the highest standard and must pass an annual independent Food Safety audit and a annual Shire of Campaspe Environmental Health Assessment.
Warramunda is has introduced finger food with much success in our dementia areas. This enables some of our more frail residents to be less reliant on carers at meal times if they so wish, so they can select and eat the food independently. These mini morsel meals are delicious by themselves, or as a tasty side to a bowl of soup.
