Warramunda Village is an aged care complex located in Kyabram comprising a 61 bed residential care facility, 46 independent living units, and community housing consisting of nine bedsits and five flats.
Warramunda Villages is seeking expressions of interests from suitably qualified and experienced building contractors interested in tendering for the construction of a 22 bed residential care wing at 41 and 43 Saunders st Kyabram.
The intent of this expression of interest (EOI) is to provide Warramunda with a list of contractors to tender for these building works and the tender documents will be sent directly to contractors submitting an EOI to reduce advertising periods.
Please note that this project is the first phase of a three part master plan.
Phase A– Construction of a 22 bed Aged Care residential wing on a cleared adjoining block. (Saunders st) – this EOI
Phase B – Refurbishing and extending two adjoining Aged Care residential wings and adjoining lounge. (King/Clark/Banksia Lounge)
B1 – Renovation of Banksia Lounge
B2 – 2 bedroom and lounge extension of King Wing
B3 – Extension and renovation of existing bedrooms and ensuites in King & Clark wings.
Phase C – Extending existing dining room to renovate communal facilities to create a new reception, dining and communal social areas, café, new meeting/entertainment areas and training facilities AND create a second level over this space for an administration area.
Tenders for Phases B and C will be invited in 2018 and 2019.
We expect to award the contract for phase A in late May/Early June 2019.
